This Week: April #2&3
Phew, I don't feel like my feet have touched the ground these past few weeks. Not in a bad way - in a lovely, busy, seeing lots of family, a few treats here and there, days and days of sunshine kind of way.
Highlights have included:
Finally getting the raised beds built in the garden with lots of help and toddler-herding from my lovely mum and dad. Bring on the planting!
Heading to the RSC to watch Henry IV pt. 1 and pt. 2. A surprisingly amusing history play much to our enjoyment.
Spending a day at the beach with 20+ family members - the sun shone, the children paddled and my crazy brother cycled to and from the beach (60ish miles, ugh!).
The garden springing to life. All this sunshine is doing it the world of good. Spending days outside in the garden is one of our favourite things at the moment. Chalks, books, water and her 'round and round' (windmill!) for my girl, and some seedlings in need of planting out for me. (Baby ending up in the water wasn't such a highlight - she was pegged to the line, while my girl stood beneath her shouting 'Baaaaabbyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, noooooooooooooo!')
(a wander round the park with Grandma / playing with the 'round and round' in the garden / flowers in the water / colour in the garden / soggy baby / collecting flowers in her bucket / late afternoon sun through the bluebells at Grandma and Grandad's / sitting on the pebbles at Sidmouth)
